Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday, the 13th October 2014 in the South West Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.
President Lynn Venning welcomed members and declared the meeting open at 2:00 P.M.

OVER 80’S BIRTHDAYS:-

The death of non-club member Malcolm Butler, Engineman, Dry Creek on 28th September 2014 aged 81 was reported. He was privately cremated at his own request.
GENERAL BUSINESS:-
1. The minutes of the General Meeting held on Monday the 29th of September were accepted as correct at the Executive Meeting and copies were available from the table.
2. An application to use the South West Community Centre on the third or fourth Monday from February to November next year is still pending.
3. The next meeting will be on Monday the 27th of October 2014. A DVD will be shown.
4. The remaining meeting dates for this year are the 10th and 24th November.
5. The Christmas Luncheon will be held on Monday the 8th of December. The cost will be $35 per person including drinks. Names are being taken. Twenty-nine members have booked so far with a possibility of two more expected to book.
6. Barrie Stroud then invited Barbara Nicks to draw the first raffle ticket.
7. A DVD taken at numerous locations of the former Australian National Railways courtesy of Mick Holmes was shown. Many fond memories were brought back to the members present.
Members were thanked for their attendance.
The Meeting was closed at 3.10 P.M.
