Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday the 1st of March 2010 in the South West Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.
President Lynn Venning opened the meeting at 2:05 P.M.
Members then stood and sang Advance Australia Fair.
President Lynn Venning then introduced Margaret Rhode who presented a very interesting talk, complete with a video display,
about the "Christie Walk Village" (Community Living in Adelaide).
At the conclusion of the talk, L. Venning proposed a vote of thanks to Margaret.
Members then responded with acclamation. Margaret was then asked to draw the first raffle ticket.

GENERAL BUSINESS: -
I. Retiring President Barrie Stroud was welcomed to the meeting along with Elaine Sykes.
2. Keith Robertson was welcomed back after a long illness.
3. All present were advised that the minutes of the Annual General Meeting held
on Monday the 15th of February 2010 were confirmed at the Executive Meeting and copies were available from the table.
4. The next meeting will be held on Monday the 15th of March and the speaker will
be our club member J. Morcom who will speak on the early medical profession.
5. The possibility of holding club day-tours was raised, however as only seventeen
members participated in the last day trip it is not practicable to hold and more trips at this time.
A minimum of 30 members is required to participate on any trips planned.

Collin's funeral is due to be held on Wednesday March the 3rd at the Mallala Uniting Church at 10.00 A.M.
Members then stood in silence for one minute in memory of our departed friends.
The Meeting was closed at 2:45 P.M.
There were 30 members present. Raffle proceeds after door prizes were $50.00
