Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday, the 24th November 2014 in the South West Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.
President Lynn Venning welcomed members and declared the meeting open at 2:00 P.M.

GENERAL BUSINESS:-
1. The minutes of the General Meeting held on Monday the 10th November 2014 were accepted as correct at the Executive Meeting and copies were available from the table. Reminders for members were printed on the back of the minutes.
2. Copies of the meeting dates for next year were available from the table.
3. It was suggested that if we hold a Christmas Luncheon next Year we consider either the Buckingham Arms or the Walkers Arms. Both have a smorgasbord. This year the Buckingham Arms is charging seniors $24.95 at lunchtime. Both venues are reasonably central for most members.
4. The first meeting for 2015 will be held on Monday the 16th of February. AGM?
5. The Christmas Luncheon will be held on Monday the 8th of December. Thirty-three members have now booked to attend.
6. Expected costs for the Luncheon, 33 @ $50 = $1650.00. Drinks $300-$350? We have $1660.00 in the kitty and we have paid a $500.00 deposit so all cost should be covered. The disbursement of any surplus funds to be decided at the first meeting in February 2015.
7. John Dowe then invited Albert Maschgan to draw the first raffle ticket.
8. A DVD about the Butchart Gardens was shown. Thanks to John Dowe.
Members were thanked for their attendance and all were wished a Merry Christmas and a Happy & Safe New Year.
The Meeting was closed at 2.50 P.M.
There were 20 members present. Raffle proceeds after door prizes were $30.00
