Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday, the 1st September 2014 in the South West Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.
President Lynn Venning welcomed members and declared the meeting open at 2:00 P.M.

The deaths of club members Barry Deer, on the 25th of August, Engineman Port Adelaide aged 69 years and Ralph Renshaw on the 25th of August, Traffic Manager aged 92 years were reported.
The deaths of non-club members, Reginald Fry, on the 28th of August, Insurance/Claims Officer Keswick aged 80 years and Ronald Pascoe, on the 15th of August, Station Master aged 85 years were reported.
GENERAL BUSINESS:-
1. The minutes of the General Meeting held on Monday the 18th of August were accepted as correct at the Executive Meeting and copies were available from the table.
2. Only one suggestion re the future of meetings for next year has been received; hold Meetings once a month on the third Monday to try to avoid as many public holidays as possible. Members could meet for a chat and arrangements could be made (with the Community Centre) to have a cup of tea or coffee
3. The next meeting will be on Monday the 15th of September 2014. A DVD will be shown.
4. The Christmas Luncheon will be held on Monday the 8th of December. The cost will be $35 per person including drinks. Names are being taken. Twenty-three members have booked so far.
5. Barrie Stroud then invited Jack Strapps to draw the first raffle ticket.
6. A DVD on Tasmanian Railways was shown.
Members were thanked for their attendance.
The Meeting was closed at 3.10 P.M.
