Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday, the 4th August 2014 in the South West Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.
President Lynn Venning welcomed members and declared the meeting open at 2:00 P.M.

The deaths of non-club members, Maurice Gigney, aged 91 Asst. General Manager (C.R. & A.N.) and John Simmon Engineman Pt. Pirie/Mile End/Dry Creek were reported.
GENERAL BUSINESS:-
1. The minutes of the General Meeting held on 21st of July were accepted as correct at the Executive Meeting and copies were available from the table.
2. The next meeting will be on Monday the 18th of August 2014. A DVD will be shown.
3. The Christmas Luncheon will be held on Monday the 8th of December. The cost will be $35 per person including drinks. Names are being taken.
Fifteen members have booked so far.
4. John Dowe then invited Bill Mountain to draw the first raffle ticket.
5. Barrie Stroud presented a DVD on American Short Liners.
Members were thanked for their attendance.
The Meeting was closed at 3.10 P.M.
There were 16 members present. Raffle proceeds after door prizes were $22.00
