Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday, the 23rd of June 2014 in the South West Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.
President Lynn Venning welcomed members and our Special Guest, John Evans and declared the meeting open at 2:00 P.M.

John McKay, Engineman on the 12th of June aged 84 years.
Kevin Baker on the 6th of June aged 80 (not known to members).
GENERAL BUSINESS:-
1. The minutes of the General Meetings held on 12th and 26th of May 2014 were accepted as correct at the Executive Meeting and copies were available from the table.
2. The next meeting will be on Monday the 7th July 2014. A DVD will be shown.
3. The Christmas Luncheon has been booked for Monday the 8th of December. The cost is still to be determined as it will depend on club finances later in the year.
4. The following meeting will be held on Monday the 7th of July
5. John Dowe then invited John Evans to draw the first raffle ticket.
6. John Evans was then invited to speak to members. John had a long list of Railway Men that he wished to find out more information about, in particular their first names.
7. John was thanked for bringing back many memories (of the past) for many of the members and was invited back at a convenient future meeting.
Members were thanked for their attendance.
The Meeting was closed at 3.10 P.M.
There were 18 members present. Raffle proceeds after door prizes were $26.00
