Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday, the 26th of May 2014 in the South West Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.
President Lynn Venning welcomed members and opened the meeting at 2:00 P.M.

The passing of the following members was reported:-
Alf Pudney, Technical Officer Islington aged 84 on the 13th of May 2014.
Vivian Pritchard (wife of Max deceased) aged 100 years.
The following non-member deaths were also reported:-
Ron Verrall, Engineman Dry Creek on the 15th of May aged 83 years.
Elias Tzamzidis, Guard Mile End/Dry Creek on the 22nd of May aged 80 years.
Thomas William Broad (Railway Mentor) on the 15th of May aged 88 years.
GENERAL BUSINESS:-
1. The next meeting will be on Monday the 23rd of June 2014. John Evans will be speaking.
2. The Christmas Luncheon has been booked and a deposit paid for on Monday the 8th of December. The cost is still to be determined as it will depend on club finances later in the year.
3. The following meeting will be held on Monday the 7th of July
4. Lynn Venning then invited Barrie Stroud to draw the first raffle ticket.
5. Lynn Venning then gave an impromptu talk about his recent 40 day cruise from Fremantle to Harwich in the U.K.
Members were thanked for their attendance.
The Meeting was closed at 3.00 P.M.
There were 14 members present. Raffle proceeds after door prizes were $20.00
