Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday, the 14th of April 2014 in the South West Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.
Acting President Barrie Stroud welcomed members and opened the meeting at 2:00 P.M.

GENERAL BUSINESS:-
1. The minutes of the General Meeting held on Monday 31st of March 2014 were accepted as correct at the Executive Meeting. Copies were available on the table.
2. The next meeting will be on Monday the 28th of April 2014.
3. Lynn Venning tendered an apology for the next four meetings as he will be away.
4. Barrie Stroud then invited Barbara Nicks to draw the first raffle ticket.
5. A Re-Union will be held of 1960-1970 Islington Apprentices on May 1st at the Albion Hotel Kilburn at 12 Midday.
6. A Deposit of $500.00 has been paid to the Adelaide Pavilion for our Christmas Luncheon scheduled for December 8. Cost of luncheon remains at $50.00. Cost to members yet to be decided.
7. John Evans has asked for an opportunity to talk to the members regarding a research project he is currently doing. The meeting of June 23 has been agreed to.
A DVD on "Rail travel across Austria" was shown to members.
Members were thanked for their attendance.
The Meeting was closed at 3.00 P.M.
There were 15 members present. Raffle proceeds after door prizes were $22.00
