Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday, the 12th of August 2013 in the South West Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.
President Lynn Venning welcomed members and opened the meeting at 2:00 P.M.

GENERAL BUSINESS:-
1. Paddy O’Brien was welcomed back after a long absence.
2. The minutes of the General Meeting held on the 29th of July were approved at the Executive Meeting and copies were available from the table.
3. The next General Meeting will be held in two weeks time on Monday the 26th of August 2013. The following meeting will be held on Monday the 9th of September.
4. Payments now being accepted for the Christmas Luncheon to be held on Monday the 9th of December. Cost $30.00 per member.
5. A letter from Elaine Sykes was read to members.
6. Paddy O’Brien was asked to draw the first raffle ticket.
The death of non-member John Harrison, former Train Controller, Divisional Superintendent, and Special Officer last week, (aged 84 approx.) was reported.
Members then watched a video of the Butchart Gardens, thanks to John Dowe.
Members were thanked for their attendance.
The Meeting was closed at 2.55 P.M.
There were 18 members present. Raffle proceeds after door prizes were $28.00.
