Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday, the 22th of October 2012 in the South West Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.
President Lynn Venning welcomed members and opened the meeting at 2:00 P.M.

On a sad note members learned of the passing on Joylene Deex, wife of Dave last week.
Condolences were offered to Dave who was present at today’s meeting.
The death of non-member Ross Strudwick, Carriage Builder Islington was also reported.
GENERAL BUSINESS:-
1. Minutes of the previous meeting were accepted at the Executive Meeting and copies were available from the table.
2. The final two meetings for 2012 will be held on Monday the 5th of November and Monday the 19th of November.
3. The Christmas Luncheon will be held on Monday the 10th of December at the Pavilion on the Park.
The cost to members will be $25.00 per person including drinks.
4. Names and payments are still being accepted for the Xmas Luncheon. Currently 30 members have booked.
5. Frank Driver reported that he has been in contact with Ron Fitch’s son and has reported that Ron suffered a fall at home
and is recovering from a fractured hip in the Palliative Care Section of the R.A.H. Ron hopes to be able to attend this years Christmas luncheon.
6. The raffle was then drawn followed by a DVD featuring Railways in South Australia.
Members were thanked for their attendance.
The Meeting was closed at 3.00 P.M.
There were 16 members present.
Raffle proceeds after door prizes were $24.00.
