Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday, the 24th September 2012 in the South West Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.
Secretary Leo Vandenberg welcomed members and opened the meeting at 2:00 P.M.

The deaths of non-members Tom Nolan, Engineman on 17th September aged 90 and of Allan Pascoe, Lifter on 16th March was reported.
GENERAL BUSINESS:-
1. As the President was not available today because of health issues with his wife regretfully no DVD player was available.
2. John Morcom gave an impromptu small talk on the troubles experienced with child education in the Riverland during his time there.
3. Albert Maschgan also gave a small talk about his early life in Australia when he migrated here.
4. Barrie Stroud then gave a small talk about his early life when growing up on a farm in the outback.
5. Thanks go to all those in helping us out.
6. The next meeting will be held on Monday the 8th of October 2012.
7. The Christmas Luncheon will be held on Monday the 10th of December at the Pavilion on the Park.
The cost to members will be $25.00 per person including drinks.
8. Currently 26 members have booked.
9. Names and payments are still being accepted for the Xmas Luncheon.
10. Albert Maschgan was then asked to draw the first raffle ticket.
Members were thanked for their attendance.
The Meeting was closed at 3.00 P.M.
There were 18 members present. Raffle proceeds after door prizes were $28.00.
