Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday, the 16th of July 2012 in the South West
Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.
President Lynn Venning welcomed members and opened the meeting at 2:00 P.M.
APOLOGIES: J. Dowe, B. Biggs & A. Klopf.
GENERAL BUSINESS:
1. The Minutes of the meeting held on Monday the 2nd of July were confirmed at the Executive
Meeting and copies were available from the table.
2. The next meeting will be held on Monday the 16th of July, then Monday the 13th of August.
3. The Christmas Luncheon will be held on Monday the 10th of December at the Pavilion on the
Park. The cost to members will be $25.00 per person including drinks. A deposit has been paid.
4. Names and payments are now being taken for the Xmas Luncheon.
5. A financial statement for the second half of the financial year was presented for the members to peruse.
6. Barry Stroud then asked Albert Maschgan to draw the first raffle ticket.
7. A DVD about the last trip of the old Ghan was then shown to members.
Members were thanked for their attendance.
The Meeting was closed at 2:55 P.M.
There were 19 members present. Raffle proceeds after door prizes were $26.00.
