Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday, the 18th of June 2012 in the South West
Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.

President Lynn Venning welcomed members and opened the meeting at 2:00 P.M.

Two non-member deaths were reported.
William Arnold (Bill) Carey, Engineman/Checker Port Pirie,on the 5th of June aged 90 years
and Garth Hamley, Engineman Port Pirie/Mile End on the 15th of June aged 81.


1. The Minutes of the meeting held on Monday the 28th of May were confirmed at the Executive 
    Meeting and copies were available from the table.
2. The next meeting will be held on Monday the 2nd of July, then the 16th of July.
3. The Christmas Luncheon will be held on Monday the 10th of December at the Pavilion on the Park.
    The cost to members will be $25.00 per person including drinks. A deposit has been paid.
4. Our Patron, Mr. Ron Fitch was then invited to draw the first raffle ticket.
5. Members then enjoyed a shared afternoon tea to celebrate Mr. Fitch's 102nd birthday.
6. The Centre Manager along with the volunteers at the South West Community Centre were 
    thanked for their invaluable assistance during the afternoon.

Members were thanked for their attendance and asked to take a doggy bag home for their supper.

The Meeting was closed at 3:00 P.M.

There were 30 members present. Raffle proceeds after door prizes were $54.00.
