Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday, the 30th of April 2012 in the South West
Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.
President Lynn Venning welcomed members and opened the meeting at 2:00 P.M.

GENERAL BUSINESS:
1. The Minutes of the meeting held on Monday the 16th of April were confirmed at the Executive
Meeting and copies were available from the table.
2. Peter Gardiner was asked to draw the first raffle ticket.
3. The next meeting will be held on Monday the 14th of May 2012. A DVD on Railways will be
shown on the big screen.
4. The following meeting will be held on Monday the 28th of May.
5. On Monday the 18th of June we will celebrate our Patron, Mr. Ron Fitch's 102nd birthday with
a shared afternoon tea. Everyone is asked to bring a plate of afternoon tea to share.
6. The Christmas Luncheon will be held on Monday the 10th of December at the Pavilion on the
Park. The cost to members will be $25.00 per person including drinks.
7. It was reported that Keith Robertson has moved in to care at Woodville and is now unable to
attend meetings.
8. The correct spelling of the one non-member death reported last meeting should have been
Cosimo Abbracciavento.
9. Members then watched a DVD of photos taken during the Lynn Venning' s recent trip to New Zealand.
Members were thanked for their attendance.
The Meeting was closed at 2:50 P.M.
There were 20 members present. Raffle proceeds after door prizes were $30.00.
