Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday, the 19th of March 2012 in the South West
Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.
President Lynn Venning welcomed members and opened the meeting at 2:00 P.M.

The death of a non-club member Bruno Roehl, (Sleeping Car Conductor), last November was reported.
GENERAL BUSINESS: -
1. The minutes of the last general Meeting held on the 5th of March 2012 was accepted at
the Executive Meeting and copies were available from the table.
2. There will be a Model Railway exhibition at the Noarlunga Uniting Church Hall on the
24th & 25th of March.
3. The next meeting will be held on Monday the 2nd of April 2012. John Morcom has
offered to give a talk.
4. Lynn Venning tendered his apology for the next meeting, as he will be involved in
preparations for the 56th Annual Australian Association of Live Steamers Easter
Convention, which is being hosted by the Penfield Model Engineers Society, Woomera Avenue Edinburgh.
5. The following meeting will be held on Monday the 16th of April 2012.
6. The family of Ron Grant has advised that Ron is now confined to a dementia unit of the
Resthaven Nursing Home, Eve Road at Bellevue Heights. Visitors are welcome.
7. Helen Jenke was invited to draw the first raffle ticket.
8. A DVD on the Driving Creek Railway was then shown to members.
Members were thanked for their attendance.
The Meeting was closed at 3:00 P.M.
There were 18 members present. Raffle proceeds after door prizes were $28.00.
