Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday, the 20th June 2011 in the South West
Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.
President Lynn Venning welcomed members and opened the meeting at 2:00 P.M.

Members then sang Happy Birthday to Pat and Ron who were present at the meeting.
The death of club member Joe Lewicki on the 8th of June 2011 (former Ticket Examiner, Adelaide)
aged 83 years was reported. Also the death of a non-member Archie John BIRCH on the 21st of May
2011 (formerly a Steward on the Indian Pacific) aged 80 years was reported.
GENERAL BUSINESS: -
The minutes of the previous General Meeting were accepted at the Executive Meeting and copies
were available from the table.
Ron Perkins was asked to draw the first raffle ticked.
The next meeting will be on Monday the 4th of July.
A DVD on wild flowers in W.A. provided by Jack Strapps will be shown.
The following meeting will be on Monday the 18th of July.
Names and payment for the Christmas Luncheon (which has been booked at the Pavilion on the
Park for Monday the 12th of December 2011) will be accepted as from the next meeting.
The cost to members who attend the Christmas Luncheon will be $25.00 per person.
Members then watched two short, interesting DVD's on Railways in Switzerland.
The Meeting was closed at 3:00 P.M.
There were 22 members present. Raffle proceeds after door prizes were $34.00
