Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday, the 16th May 2011 in
the South West Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.
President Lynn Venning welcomed members and opened the meeting at 2:00 P.M.

One member death was reported Joe Wreczycki, Crane Driver Islington aged 89.
GENERAL BUSINESS: -
1. Ray Tilley was then invited to draw the first raffle ticket.
2. The next meeting will be on Monday the 30th of May. A DVD on Railways in Germany
provided by Pat Marzahn will be shown.
3. The following meeting will be on Monday the 20th of June. A three-week break a/c
June 13th Queens Birthday Public Holiday.
4. The Christmas Luncheon has been booked at the Pavilion on the Park for Monday
the 12th of December 2011 and the necessary deposit has been paid.
5. The cost to members who attend the Christmas Luncheon will be $25.00 per person.
6. The club will subsidise each member who attends the Christmas Luncheon by $28.00
and also will pay for beverages.
7. Werner Erfurth was thanked for donating a number of DVD's to the club for members to see.
Members then enjoyed watching a Railway DVD thanks to Ken McLaren.
Railways featured included the Great South Pacific Express, The Barossa Wine Train along
with Street Cars in San Francisco, Tourist trains in New Zealand, The Californian Zephyr
and steam trains in Cuba.
The Meeting was closed at 3:10 P.M.
There were 21 members present. Raffle proceeds after door prizes were $34.00
