Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday, the 4th April 2011 in the South West Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.
President Lynn Venning welcomed members and opened the meeting at 2:00 P.M.
President Lynn Venning then introduced club member Pat Marzahn who along with his wife Eva presented a DVD
or their recent trip to Darwin on the Ghan. At the conclusion of the presentation, Lynn Venning thanked Pat
and Eva for sharing their travel photos with the members. Pat was complimented for his excellent work in
producing the DVD (which was his first attempt at this type of production). The members then responded with
acclamation. Pat was then asked to draw the first raffle ticket.

GENERAL BUSINESS: -
1. Minutes from the Annual General Meeting held on Monday the 21st of February 2011 were accepted at the
executive meeting and copies are available from the table.
2. The meeting scheduled for Monday the 7th of March was cancelled due to a double booking for the venue.
3. The meeting on Monday the 21st of March coincided with the Centre's Harmony Day. 13 members enjoyed the
Harmony Day shared luncheon. There was no executive meeting.
4. The club was well represented at the funeral of Robert Hay on Wednesday the 23rd of February 2011.
5. A number of the Treasurer's items and $46.00 un-banked cash previously held by Robert Hay (in the capacity
as Club Treasurer) have been returned to the club by Robert's family.
6. The speaker on Monday the 18th of April will be club member John Morcom who will speak on the "Border
Dispute".
7. Lynn Venning will be absent at the next meeting account travelling interstate.
8. The Christmas Luncheon is to be booked at the Pavilion on the Park for Monday the 12th of December 2011.
The necessary deposit is to be paid.
