Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday, the 27th September 2010 in the South West Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.
President Lynn Venning welcomed members and declared the meeting open at 2:00 P.M.
APOLOGIES: - Nil.
Our speaker today needed no introduction; John Newell who is well known to all members continued
his interesting talk about his early life in working for the S.A.R. At the conclusion of John's
presentation, Lynn Venning proposed a vote of thanks to John for coming along and speaking to the members.
The members responded with acclamation. John was then asked to draw the first raffle ticket.
SECRETARIES REPORT: _
29 members have now booked for the Christmas luncheon.
GENERAL BUSINESS: -
All present were advised that the minutes of the General Meeting held on Monday the 13th of September
2010 were confirmed at the Executive Meeting and copies were available from the table.

The final meeting for the year, Christmas Luncheon to be held on Monday the 13th of December at the Pavilion on the Park.
Cost will be $30.00 per member and their partner.
