Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday, the 13th September 2010 in the South West Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.
President Lynn Venning welcomed members and declared the meeting open at 2:00 P.M.

Our speaker today needed no introduction; John Morcom who is well known to all members continued his very
interesting talk about his life's experiences. At the conclusion of John's talk, Lynn Venning proposed a
vote of thanks to John for his talk. The members responded with acclamation. John was then asked to draw the first raffle ticket.
SECRETARIES REPORT: -
Ray Jaensch has agreed to give two talks.
Monday the 11th of October and the topic will be "Train Journeys around the World".
Monday the 8th of November "Lion Safari's in Africa".
GENERAL BUSINESS: -
All present were advised that the minutes of the General Meeting held on Monday the 30th of August 2010
were confirmed at the Executive Meeting and copies were available from the table.
The next speaker on Monday the 27th of September will be club member John Newell who will continue his talk about his early railway days.

The final meeting for the year, Christmas Luncheon to be held on Monday the 13th of December at the Pavilion on the Park.
Cost will be $30.00 per person.
