Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday, the 31st of May 2010 in the South West Community Centre,171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.
President Lynn Venning opened the meeting at 2:00 P.M.
Lynn Venning then introduced our guest speaker Christine Mitchell from COTA who spoke on the "Beyond Blue"program that is aimed at helping people who are suffering from aged depression.
At the conclusion of her talk, Lynn Venning proposed a vote of thanks to Christine.
The members then responded with acclamation.
A number of handouts were made available for members from the table.

GENERAL BUSINESS: -
1. All present were advised that the minutes of the General Meeting held on Monday the 17th of May 2010
were confirmed at the Executive Meeting and were available from the table.
Updates about several of the forthcoming meetings are included in the minutes.
2. Due to there being no raffle tickets available, there were no door prizes awarded today.
3. The next meeting will be held in one week's time on Monday the 7th of June at the Pavilion in the Park.
Members were requested to indicate if they were able to attend. A booking for 30 has been made.
So far 30 + members have indicated that they would be able to attend.
4. The club will pay the full cost of the meal including drinks, but if any member wishes to make a small
donation towards the cost of the event, all such donations would be gratefully received.
5. On Monday the 21st of June, Club Member John Morcom will speak on the demise of A.N.
6. On Monday the 5th of July, Club Member John Newel will talk about his railway experiences.
7. Currently on Monday the 19th of July Lynn Venning with present some old railway photos or short
Railway DVD's. All offers to give a presentation will be considered.
