Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday, the 3rd of May 2010 in the South West Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.
President Lynn Venning opened the meeting at 2:00 P.M.
Members then stood and sang Advance Australia Fair.
Our Patron Mr. Ron Fitch was welcomed to the meeting.
Lynn Venning then introduced our guest speakers, Max and Pamela Jahn who presented two very interesting power point presentations.
The first presentation was about the "REVISE" program that assists with the education of children in remote areas and the
second presentation was about their trip on the "Gulf-Lander" train in Queensland.
At the conclusion of the presentation, Max Kernich proposed a vote of thanks to Max and Pamela.
Pamela was then asked to draw the first raffle ticket.

GENERAL BUSINESS: -
1. All present were advised that the minutes of the General Meeting held on Monday
the 12th of April 2010 were confirmed at the Executive Meeting and copies are available at the table.
2. The next meeting is on Monday the 17th of May. Lynn Venning will show some early
photos or some short railway orientated DVD's.
3. The following meeting will be held on Monday the 31st of May. There will then be
a speaker from C.O.T.A., who will talk about "Depression in the Aged".
4. A general reminder of our Patrons 100th Birthday celebration to be held on Monday
the 7th of June at the Pavilion on the Park. 11:30 A.M. for 12 Noon start.
5. On Monday the 21st of June, Club Member John Morcom will speak on the demise of A.N.
6. On Monday the 5th of July, John Newel will talk about his railway experiences in
Signal and Telegraph.
