Minutes of the GENERAL MEETING held on Monday, the 15th of March 2010 in the South West Community Centre. 171 Sturt Street in Adelaide.
President Lynn Venning opened the meeting at 2:00 P.M.
Members then stood and sang Advance Australia Fair.
President Lynn Venning then introduced the well-known club member John Morcom who spoke about the early medical profession in South Australia.
At the conclusion of the talk, Lynn Venning proposed a vote of thanks to John.
Members responded with an acclamation.
John was then asked to draw the first raffle ticket.

GENERAL BUSINESS: -
Habel was reported to be in the QEH with a broken pelvis.
All present were advised that the minutes of the Annual General Meeting were confirmed at the Executive Meeting and copies were available at the table.
The next meeting will be held on Monday the 29th of March and the speaker will be Sue Bull,Liaison Officer from METRO HOME LINK.
Topic will be "Home Support Services"
The following meeting will be after two weeks on Monday the 12th of April 2010.
A general reminder of our Patrons 100th Birthday celebration to be held on Monday
the 7th of June at the Pavilion on the Park. 11:30 A.M. for 12 Noon.
A birthday cake will now replace the apple dessert.
Alex and Josie Klopf celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on the 5th of March.
